Children’s dismembered bodies found in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod city apartment

Kindergarten staff called the police when a group of children, all aged under six, stopped attending after July 25

MOSCOW, August 4. /TASS/. Police in the Volga city of Nizhny Novgorod have found children’s dismembered remains in an apartment belonging to a family with six offspring, an Investigative Committee official said on Tuesday.

Kindergarten staff called the police when a group of children, all aged under six, stopped attending after July 25, the spokesman said. Since no-one opened the door when officers arrived, they forced a window and discovered the remains.

Police have opened a criminal inquiry and are searching for the children’s parents, the spokesman said, not specifying how many youngsters were murdered.
