Kremlin announces Putin’s profound address to Valdai Discussion Club meeting

Dmitry Peskov added that the Russian president would be briefed on the outcome of the discussions that had taken place at the Valdai event in previous days

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s address to the Valdai Discussion Club’s annual meeting later today will be profound and interesting, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The head of state’s address to the Valdai forum is usually visionary and offers a mindset assessment. This will also be the case this time. The address will be very interesting and profound," he told reporters.

Peskov added that Putin would be briefed on the outcome of the discussions that had taken place at the Valdai event in previous days. "There will be an exchange of views with the president. The event is expected to be fascinating," the Kremlin spokesman concluded.

As a rule, Putin speaks on the entire international agenda at the annual meetings of the Valdai Discussion Club.
