MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov kept quiet when asked if Russia would be represented at the inauguration ceremony of newly-elected US president, Donald Trump.

"We don't even know yet who will be invited. This is not a question for us to answer," the Kremlin spokesman said, when asked by TASS whether Russia would be somehow represented at Trump's inauguration.

He himself has already declared himself the 47th president of the United States. His rival, Democrat Kamala Harris, acknowledged defeat. Trump has been receiving congratulations from foreign leaders.

Officially, the returns will be approved in the US Congress on January 6, 2025, after voting by members of the electoral college on December 17. The inauguration is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
