Battlegroup West captures 42 strongholds, destroys 4 arms depots in Ukraine

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Russia's Battlegroup West has captured 42 strongholds, destroyed 4 field ammunition depots, and 11 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) command centers of the Ukrainian armed forces over the past day, Ivan Bigma, head of the battlegroup's press office, told TASS.

"As a result of active operations, motorized infantry units of Battlegroup West advanced positions along the front line, capturing 42 enemy strongholds. <...> 4 field ammunition storage facilities, 2 Starlink satellite communication stations, and 11 UAV command centers [of the enemy] were destroyed," he said.

According to the spokesman, over the past day, the enemy lost 13 pieces of equipment, including a T-64 tank, a self-propelled artillery system, and 3 motor vehicles as a result of the battlegroup's operations. Additionally, the artillery units of the group eliminated seven mortar squads in counter-battery warfare. Air defenses downed four fixed-wing drones.
