GROZNY, December 25. /TASS/. The authorities of Chechnya handed over 200 "Jihad mobile" vehicles to the People’s Front to be sent to the special military operation area, Chairman of the regional government Magomed Daudov said during a meeting in Grozny.

"In the industry area, we’ve started building an electronics industrial technology park. Production of new ‘Jihad mobile’ vehicles has been established at the Chechenavto plant; 200 specialized vehicles have already been handed over to the People’s Front to be shipped to the special military operation area. Overall, we plan to produce 356 vehicles before the end of this year," he said.

The serial production of combat vehicles, designed on the GAZ Sobol and GAZ Sadko chassis, has been launched in Chechnya in 2024. The vehicle blueprints were designed by the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (MGTU). The vehicles underwent trials at the Russian Special Operations University in Gudermes.
