Russia successfully reoriented trade in response to West’s restrictions — minister

According to Maxim Reshetnikov, at present Russia is solving the task of consistent development and cooperation with consideration of its interests

MILWAUKEE, October 2. /TASS/. Russia has successfully solved the task of trade reorientation in response to numerous restrictions of the collective West, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov told reporters in conclusion of the G20 trade and economic development ministers meeting.

"We have fulfilled in broad terms the task of trade refocusing. We are now solving the task of consistent development, cooperation with consideration of interests of our country, taking into account that we need to increase our own production efficiency," the minister said.

"At the same time, we offer many countries joint development of technology issues, because huge markets are actually needed for large products - machinery, process ones, and so on," he noted. "We are open to all the proposals there," Reshetnikov added.
