Ex-Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh died at age of 92

"He was being treated for age-related medical conditions," the All-India Institute of Medical Studies informed

NEW DELHI, December 27. /TASS/. Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh died at the age of 92, the All-India Institute of Medical Studies (AIMS) informed.

"He was being treated for age-related medical conditions and had sudden loss of consciousness at home on December 26, 2024. Resuscitative measures were started immediately at home. He was brought to the Medical Emergency at AIIMS," the Institute said. "Despite all efforts, he could not be revived and was declared dead," it added.

Manmohan Singh was the member of the Indian National Congress, the oldest political party in India. He served for two terms as the prime minister, from May 2004 to May 2014.
