ASTANA, October 14. /TASS/. Russia is acting correctly and in a timely manner in the current situation involving Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the media on Friday.

"No," Putin replied when asked, if he had any regrets.

"I want to make it clear: what is happening today is unpleasant, to put it mildly. But we would have had the same thing a little bit later, only in different conditions, far worse for us. This says it all. We are acting correctly and in a timely manner," Putin said while answering a question concerning the Ukrainian theme.
