No need for more massive strikes against facilities in Ukraine — Putin

Currently, other tasks are on the agenda, the president emphasized

ASTANA, October 14. /TASS/. There is no longer any need to carry out massive strikes against facilities in Ukraine, the unaffected ones are being gradually "finished off," Russian President Vladimir Putin told the media on Friday.

"There is no need for massive strikes now. Currently, other tasks are on the agenda, because, in my opinion, out of the 29 facilities 7 were not hit the way the Defense Ministry had planned. But these facilities are being finished off gradually, there is no need for massive strikes, at least for now. Then we'll see," Putin said.

On Monday, Putin said at a meeting with members of the Security Council a massive strike had been carried out on energy, military command and communications facilities in Ukraine. According to the Defense Ministry, the strike was carried out with high accuracy long-range weapons against military command centers, communication facilities and energy systems of Ukraine. The Defense Ministry said that all of the designated targets had been hit.
