Ukrainian authorities would scatter in 24 hours without NATO’s support, says Duma speaker

Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities keep their money on foreign bank accounts and their families are far from Ukraine

MOSCOW, June 21. /TASS/. Situation in Ukraine has proven to be another show for the country’s authorities, without NATO’s support they will disperse in a day, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said on Tuesday, commenting on Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba’s statements.

Earlier, Kuleba said during an ARD TV broadcast that even if the flow of Western arms stops, his country would continue to fight off Russia and would "fight with shovels" if needed.

"As soon as NATO stops arms supplies, on which you make profit, and stops sending mercenaries, you’ll run off within 24 hours," Volodin pointed out on his Telegram channel.

He emphasized that Ukrainian officials keep their money in foreign bank accounts and their families are far from Ukraine. "For you, the current situation in Ukraine is another TV show. And if you took a shovel in your hands, for the first time in your life, that would be only to pose for a photo," the speaker added.
