Iran says it struck UAE aluminum industry facilities

RABAT, April 4. /TASS/. The Iranian army carried out missile and drone strikes on aluminum industry facilities in the United Arab Emirates in which the United States and Israel have invested, the General Staff of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces said.

"We struck the aluminum industry facilities in the UAE," the General Staff said in a statement.

According to the statement, the United States and Israel "have significant investments in the UAE aluminum industry and use it to produce military equipment." The Iranian army added that, in Tehran’s view, "the enemy uses products from UAE industrial enterprises in the production of fighter jets, including F-35s, as well as missiles, tanks and other armored vehicles."

No information was provided on the results of the strikes.
