Russia doesn’t think it’s at war with NATO, but NATO thinks otherwise - Lavrov

EU leaders also believe they are at war with Russia, Lavrov said

MOSCOW, April 29. /TASS/. Russia doesn’t think it’s at war with NATO but NATO believes it’s at war with Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the Al Arabiya television channel.

"We don’t think that we are at war wit NATO. That would be another step toward increasing the risks of what we have just discussed," he said. "Unfortunately, NATO believes that it’s at war with Russia."

EU leaders also believe they are at war with Russia, Lavrov said.

"Many of them (in Great Britain, the US, Poland, France, Germany and, of course, the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell) directly, publicly and persistently declare that ‘Putin must lose’ and ‘Russia must be defeated,’" he said. "In my opinion, those who use such terminology believe that they are at war with the one they want to defeat.".
