Russia, Belarus reach new level of economic integration — official

Deputy head of the Russian presidential administration Maxim Oreshkin noted that the issue of technologies was one of the key ones from the standpoint of moving up and achieving results

MINSK, March 6. /TASS/. Implementation of integration programs by Russia and Belarus made it possible for the countries to reach a new level of economic interaction, deputy head of the Russian presidential administration Maxim Oreshkin told reporters.

"There were plenty of rumors that somebody wants to deprive Belarus of independence, to line up, and so on. This is absolute stupidity. We see that coordination in different spheres create a different level of economic integration and other economic opportunities. This is the most important - the economy," Oreshkin said, cited by the BelTA news agency.

"The issue of technologies is one of the key ones from the standpoint of moving up, achieving results," the official added.
