MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Russian authorities will consider introduction of personal responsibility for chief executives of companies hiring migrants through illegal schemes, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting on the relevant issues.
"We will consider a proposal of introducing personal responsibility for a chief executive of an organization where violations of migration laws are found," Medvedev said.
"Personal responsibility is proposed to be established for heads of companies that hire migrants via fly-by-night companies and use shadow schemes in the labor market," he added.
According to the Ministry of Interior, about 80,000 violations related to unlawful engagement of illegal workers are annually found and halted, the official said. Relevant authorities should close any loopholes for illegal workers and unfair employers by common efforts, Medvedev noted.
