11 civilians killed in Israel’s strike on Nabatieh — Lebanon’s health ministry

Nine more people, including four children and one woman, were injured

BEIRUT, May 24. /TASS/. Eleven civilians died after Israel’s air raid on the settlement of Sir al-Gharbiya in Lebanon’s southern Nabatieh province, the country’s health ministry said.

According to the ministry’s post on X, among those killed were a child and six women. "Nine more people, including four children and one woman, were injured," it added.

The strike targeted a three-storey residential building.

According to earlier reports, several people were wounded after Israel’s strike on a building of the local civil defense service in the Nabatgieh al-Tahta neighborhood.

According to Lebanon’s health ministry, since the beginning of the current escalation on March 2, Israel has carried out 163 attacks on rescue and medical teams in Lebanon, leaving 123 employees and volunteers dead.
