BELOKURIKHA /Altai Region/, February 29. /TASS/. The ruble exchange rate is projected at 90-91 per $1 in the second half of 2024, VEB.RF Chief Economist Andrey Klepach told TASS.

"The ruble exchange rate against the dollar even strengthened at the end of last year and in January 2024. [It] may slightly decrease in the second half of this year though [it] will be at around 90-91 [rubles per dollar]," he said.

On Thursday, the dollar exchange rate against the ruble added 5 kopecks as trading opened on Moscow Exchange compared with previous closing to 91.2 rubles.
