Azerbaijani-Russian trade turnover up 20% in 10M 2023

Russia ranked third among Azerbaijan's trade partners in 10M 2023 after Italy and Turkey, according to the customs service

BAKU, November 16. /TASS/. Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to $3.443 bln in January-October 2023, up by 20% compared with the same period in 2022, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reported.

Exports of Azerbaijani products to Russia equaled $961 mln in the first ten months of this year (up by 33.6% year-on-year), while imports from Russia totaled $2.482 bln (up by 15.5%), according to the report.

Russia ranked third among Azerbaijan's trade partners in 10M 2023 after Italy and Turkey, according to the customs service. The share of trade operations with Russia during this period accounted for 7.91% of the republic’s total foreign trade turnover.

In 2022, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia increased by 23.9% compared with the previous year and amounted to $3.71 bln. The share of trade operations with Russia stood at 7.04% of Azerbaijan’s total foreign trade turnover last year.
