Russia’s GDP expected to grow by 5.2% in September 2023 – Ministry of Economic Development

Over the nine months of this year, the figure increased by 2.8%, the department noted

MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Russia's GDP in September 2023 grew by 5.2% in annual terms, the Ministry of Economic Development said on Wednesday.

"According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, in September 2023, GDP exceeded the level of last year by 5.2%, like a month earlier," the ministry said.

Russia's GDP for the first half of 2023 amounted to 75.39 trillion rubles ($814.35 bln) in current prices, according to the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

Earlier, the statistical service confirmed the preliminary estimate of Russian GDP growth in the Q2 of 2023 at 4.9% in annual terms. Compared to the Q1 of 2023, GDP grew by 8.6%.
