YAKUTSK, November 25. /TASS/. Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development proposed to launch a program to support development of local video games, minister Maksut Shadayev said on Friday.

"This is a unique task of the state - not only to develop technologies, but also to provide in-demand content. One of the industries that has suffered the most in the current environment is game development," he said. "We propose launching a program to support local game development," Shadayev added.

He noted that in addition to games, large Russian streaming services have also started producing TV series.
