Vladivostok, May 11. /TASS/. Vladivostok will host the Pacific Tourist Forum on May 25-27. It will be attended by over 100 guests from Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Belarus, the Primorye regional government website said on Wednesday.
"The Pacific Tourist Forum will be held in Vladivostok from May 25 to 27. The Primorye region will be visited by guests from all over Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Belarus. <...> Renowned representatives of the tourism and marketing industries and the restaurant business will act as experts at the event. <...> Also the organizers of the forum, the Tourism Agency of the Primorsky Region and the Tourist Information Center, invited travel journalists and hospitality bloggers," the message said.
The forum will be held for the eighth time, this year it will take place in the center of Vladivostok, which will enable the event’s participants to not only gain new knowledge, but also to enjoy the views of the city. "We decided to move the main venue of the Pacific Tourist Forum from Russky Island to the center of Vladivostok, to the Ocean cinema and to the site in front of the Seven Hills art object. This move will make the forum more accessible to the general public, including direct consumers of tourist services: our citizens and guests of the city. Meanwhile, we will maintain the business program, whose sections will be devoted to the main discussion subjects of the development of the tourism industry," the head of the Tourism Agency of the region Arseny Krepsky said.
The Pacific Tourist Forum is an annual event held in Vladivostok in late May - early June.
