Netanyahu wishes Biden to overcome cancer

"The people of Israel and I wish you a full and speedy recovery," Israeli Prime Minister wrote on his X page

TEL AVIV, May 20. /TASS/. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu along with his wife Sara wished recovery to former US President Joe Biden, who has been diagnosed with cancer.

"Sarah's and my heart and hopes are with Joe and Jill Biden. I've known Joe for 45 years. One thing is certain, Joe is a fighter and survivor. The people of Israel and I wish you a full and speedy recovery," Netanyahu wrote on his X page.

Earlier, Biden's representatives issued a statement revealing that the 46th US president has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. According to the statement, the condition may be managed with hormone therapy, which offers effective control of the disease.

The former White House host is 82 years old. In March 2023, he underwent surgery to remove a malignant skin mass.
