TBILISI, October 26. /TASS/. The parliamentary election in Georgia was held calmly and safely, Spokesperson for the Georgian Central Election Commission Natia Ioseliani said.

"The parliamentary election in Georgia was held in a calm and safe atmosphere," she said.

According to her, over 2.06 million voters took part in the election, with voter turnout reaching 58.94%.
