MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Eurasian Affairs Li Hui will lead the delegation of Chinese observers to the Russian presidential elections, according to a TASS source.

"Indeed, Mr. Li Hui will lead the delegation of PRC observers," the source said.

Since March 2, Li Hui was on a tour in a bid to assist in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. First, he made a visit to Russia, where he met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin. In accordance with the announced schedule, the Chinese diplomat then visited the EU headquarters, Poland, Ukraine, Germany and France. This is the second round of the envoy’s shuttle diplomacy; the first one took place in May last year, when he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and diplomats of several European countries, as well as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
