UK announces sanctions against foreign suppliers of military equipment to Russia

The goal of the sanctions is to deprive Russia of the resources that it needs for the special military operation in Ukraine

LONDON, December 6. /TASS/. On Wednesday, the United Kingdom will impose sanctions against foreign individuals and companies exporting to Russia equipment and parts that can be used for military means, the UK Foreign Office said in a statement.

"The UK will, on Wednesday, target military suppliers who are propping up [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s war machine through a series of sanctions," the statement says. "Foreign suppliers exporting equipment and parts to Russia are among dozens of individuals and groups to be sanctioned."

The goal of the sanctions is to deprive Russia of the resources that it needs for the special military operation in Ukraine.
