WASHINGTON, November 27. /TASS/. President Joe Biden of the United States and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel have agreed to continue working to secure the release of all hostages by the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, the White House said in a statement.

The two parties discussed the situation in Gaza in a telephone call on Sunday, according to the document. "The President welcomed the release of hostages by Hamas over the past three days, including a young American girl," the statement reads. Biden and Netanyahu "agreed that the work is not yet done and that they will continue working to secure the release of all hostages," according to the statement.

The two leaders also "discussed the pause in the fighting and surge in much needed additional humanitarian assistance into Gaza," the White House said. "The Prime Minister thanked the President for his tireless efforts to help broker and fully implement this deal," according to the statement.
