No violations of ceasefire registered in Nagorno-Karabakh on Monday

In compliance with the agreements on cessation of hostilities, the armed formations of Karabakh have continued to surrender weapons and military equipment under the supervision of the Russian peacekeepers

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Russian peacekeepers did not register any ceasefire violations in Nagorno-Karabakh on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out missions on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Regular communication is maintained with Baku and Stepanakert, with the aim of preventing bloodshed, ensuring security and compliance with the norms of humanitarian law with respect to civilians. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been registered," the ministry said in a bulletin detailing the activities of the Russian peacekeeping force in the area of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

In compliance with the agreements on cessation of hostilities, the armed formations of Karabakh have continued to surrender weapons and military equipment under the supervision of the Russian peacekeepers.

"As of September 25 the following was turned in: eight armored vehicles; 37 units of field artillery, MLRS and mortars; more than 3,200 small arms; anti-tank weapons and MANPADS; and about 435,000 rounds of ammunition," the bulletin said.

According to the ministry, Russian peacekeepers escorted three groups of civilians from Stepanakert to Armenia through the Lachin corridor.

"The Russian peacekeeping base is hosting 675 Nagorno-Karabakh civilians, including 408 children. They have been provided with accommodation, food and medical assistance," the ministry said.
