BEIJING, April 6. /TASS/. Chinese and French authorities plan to intensify cooperation in the aerospace and nuclear energy sectors, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday.

"China and France will deepen cooperation in the aerospace sector, civil nuclear energy, green technology, the sci-tech area and innovation," he said at a joint press conference with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Beijing.

Beijing will continue actively pursuing its policy of openness and create new favorable opportunities for global development, the Chinese leader noted. He also said he was interested in finding a way to increase supplies of agricultural products from France to China.

"We will make mutual efforts to create an equitable, fair and non-discriminatory business atmosphere for Chinese and French companies," Xi Jinping concluded.
