BERLIN, June 11. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi are planning a joint visit to Kiev in June, Bild am Sonntag said on Saturday citing its sources.
The daily reported that the visit is expected to take place prior to the G7 summit, scheduled for June 26-28. The newspaper says that Berlin and Paris have long been in talks about such a joint visit.
Macron insisted that the visit should not be held until after the election to the National Assembly on June 12 and 19. It is France’s idea to go with Draghi.
The visit of Scholz, Macron and Draghi should show European unity on Ukraine, the daily notes.
