Hermitage museum to stage Peter the Great light show in December

The Hermitage Day program will kick off on December 2 and last until December 12. It comprises exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and other events

ST. PETERSBURG, November 23. /TASS/. The State Hermitage will stage a multimedia light show dedicated to Peter the Great and St. Petersburg on the Palace Square on December 9-10, general director of the museum Mikhail Piotrovsky said at a press conference.

"There will be 3D mapping - an excellent story dedicated to Peter the Great and St. Petersburg, with an outstanding selection of poetry, and images will be incredible as always," Piotrovsky said. The show will be public and it will be a present to residents and guests of St. Petersburg, associated with the Museum Birthday celebrated on December 7, the St. Catherine’s day.

The Hermitage Day program will kick off on December 2 and last until December 12. It comprises exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and other events.
