Region’s head slams fake video showing Ukraine military getting orders to attack Belgorod

The high level of terrorist threat was declared in the region from April 11 to April 25

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has said that the video uploaded to social networking sites and showing Ukrainian military getting the order to march on Belgorod, was a fake one.

The high level of terrorist threat was declared in the region from April 11 to April 25. "A real information war has been launched against us, every day we are getting a share of fake news. Today we had a new one, rather funny - where President Zelensky is allegedly giving orders to attack Belgorod in a staged video," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, all regions of the Central Federal District bordering on Ukraine declared a high level of terrorist threat. The orange level was declared in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as in two districts of the Voronezh region.

Crimean authorities have also raised to high the level of terrorist threat in five northern and two eastern areas of the peninsula. "In connection with the special military operation carried out by the Russian Armed Forces and possible provocations from accomplices of the Kiev regime, the issues of protecting the republic and its citizens against terrorism are getting increasingly pressing," Crimean leader Sergey Aksyonov blogged on his Telegram channel on Monday evening. The high level of terrorist threat is imposed for 15 days, until 20:00 on April 26, 2022, he added.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin in response to the appeal of the leaders of the republics of Donbass, decided to conduct a special military operation. The Russian leader stressed that Moscow's plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories. The goal is the demilitarization and denazification of the country. The Russian Defense Ministry reassured that Russian troops are not targeting Ukrainian cities, but are limited to surgically striking and incapacitating Ukrainian military infrastructure.
