Putin discusses Russian Foreign Ministry's Asia-Pacific focus with Security Council

Russia's foreign policy priorities were also discussed at President Vladimir Putin's regular operational meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council

MOSCOW, July 17. /TASS/. Russia's foreign policy priorities and the Foreign Ministry's work in the Asia-Pacific region were discussed at President Vladimir Putin's regular operational meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

Opening the meeting, held via video link, Putin outlined its agenda.

"Today, Sergey Lavrov will brief us on the priorities the Foreign Ministry proposes to focus on in the Asia-Pacific region," Putin said.
