Moscow, Washington remain in contact on prisoner exchanges — senior Russian diplomat

MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. Moscow maintains occasional contact with Washington on the prisoner swap issue, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters.

"Communication takes place occasionally but there has been no progress in terms of any specific plans," he pointed out.

Ryakbov added that the parties "will need some more time to continue this work."
