MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Moscow and Tehran intend to expand joint infrastructure projects and cooperation in other areas, the press service of the Kremlin said in a statement about a telephone conversation between Russian and Iranian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Ebrahim Raisi.
"During exchange of views on relevant issues of the Russian-Iranian relations mutual sentiment was expressed for further gradual expansion of bilateral cooperation in various areas, including implementation of mutually beneficial infrastructure projects," the statement reads.
Putin and Raisi also discussed the latest escalation in the Middle East, the Kremlin added.
