MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. The outcome of voting in the Russian presidential election will come as disappointment for many people abroad, Russian Central Election Commission Deputy Chairman Nikolay Bulayev told reporters.
He said all the mud-slinging surrounding the election, attempts to prevent people from casting ballots by closing polling stations abroad or attacking the stations located near the border make no sense.
"The people will have their say anyway, no matter what. The stronger the pressure [on the people], the greater the unity. It seems to me that following this vote, we will have an outcome that will come as a disappointment for many people abroad, but it will be the view expressed by our people - what they think," Bulayev said.
