Kiev’s terrorist activities continue, Russian forces on guard — Kremlin

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that Russian servicemen, together with officers of the Federal Security Service, thwarted Kiev's attempt to violate the state border near the Belgorod and the Kursk Regions

MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Kiev is continuing its terrorist activities, but Russian servicemen are on guard and doing everything possible, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Commenting on Ukraine's continued attacks on Russian territory, he said: "Our servicemen are doing everything necessary, the air defenses are working. Of course, terrorist activities continue, the Kiev regime is trying to attack our civilian facilities and so on. Our servicemen are on guard, the special military operation continues."

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that Russian servicemen, together with officers of the Federal Security Service (FSB), thwarted Kiev's attempt to violate the state border near the Belgorod and the Kursk Regions. As a result of active actions by state border protection units of the Western Military District and border guards, terrorist groups of the Kiev regime suffered heavy losses and were thrown back. According to the ministry, up to 60 Ukrainian terrorists were destroyed on the Ukrainian side of the border in the area of Odnorobovka, three tanks and an armored personnel carrier in the area of Nekhoteyevka, and two tanks in the area of Spodaryushino. In addition, the Russian armed forces together with the FSB repelled four attacks of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to breach the state border near the settlement of Tetkino in the Kursk Region.
