OIC to send observers to Russian presidential elections — Deputy Foreign Minister

Andrey Rudenko noted that Russia and the OIC promote their inter-parliamentary contacts

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will send its observers to the upcoming Russian presidential elections, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said during the meeting of the "Russia - Islamic World" Group of Strategic Vision management with envoys of OIC member states.

"The OIC decided to send its observers to the upcoming elections of the President of the Russian Federation," the deputy minister said.

He also noted that Russia and the OIC promote their inter-parliamentary contacts.

The Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 17, 2024, and will last for three days between March 15 and March 17, making it the first three-day presidential elections in Russia.
