ANTALYA, March 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian crisis will end when the country starts observing the norms of international law, Russia has announced the goals of its special operation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference following the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
"Regarding the question of what should be done when there is time to end the conflict in Ukraine. You know, first of all, when Ukraine, the Ukraine that will remain in our memory, <…> will observe elementary norms of international law, including respect for human rights, the rights of national minorities and so on," he said, answering a related question. "We have announced our goals. In his Address to the Federal Assembly, the president reaffirmed that these goals remain fully relevant," the top diplomat pointed out.
Lavrov said that Russia has "no right and no possibility to betray the Russian people in Donbass, in Novorossiya." "We will never do that," he emphasized.
