MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on Friday invited US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk to Moscow for Victory Day celebrations next May.

"See you in Moscow on Victory Day!" Medvedev wrote in reply to the US businessman’s question of how it was going in Bakhmut on Twitter. Bakhmut is the Ukrainian name for Artyomovsk where Ukraine has been deploying its reserve troops and fighting is ongoing.

The two started a conversation on Twitter on Thursday, when Medvedev said "bye, bye" in English to British Prime Minister Liz Truss who had announced earlier on Thursday that she would step down. The ex-Russian PM also jokingly congratulated lettuce, echoing a currently popular British meme trolling Truss’s tenure in office as British PM by comparing it to the shelf-life of the leafy vegetable. Musk commented on Medvedev’s posting, saying that was a "pretty nice troll."
