LUGANSK, June 10. /TASS/. The death toll from a strike by the Ukrainian military on Thursday morning against the city of Stakhanov in the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) has reached 22, the local Emergencies Ministry reported on Friday.

"Twenty-two people were killed and four people were injured. [The shelling inflicted] damaged and destroyed residential sector facilities in nine areas and six infrastructure facilities in Stakhanov," the message posted on the ministry’s website revealed. Earlier there were reports of about 15 dead and 10 wounded civilians.

During the Ukrainian blitzkrieg, a city hospital, a stadium, a dormitory, and residential buildings were damaged, and two entrances to an apartment building collapsed as a result of a direct hit. Alexey Getmansky, an officer of the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC), told TASS that the city was shelled by Uragan multiple rocket launchers with high-explosive anti-personnel warheads.
