Russia open to integration projects involving localization in EAEU states — PM Mishustin

The Russian prime minister added that such projects are difficult to find

CHOLPON-ATA /Kyrgyzstan/, August 7. /TASS/. Russia is interested in integration projects with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and is seeking such projects involving localization in the Union’s countries, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov’s meeting with participants of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

"You spoke about industrial cooperation and new projects. Let me wholeheartedly support this as we have the funds," the Russian premier said.

However, Mishustin noted, such projects are difficult to find. "We need to find such projects involving localization in Kyrgyzstan or other countries. Russia is open to this, we are looking for them. I am personally ready to meet with <…> colleagues to ensure there are as many integration-oriented projects as possible," he said.

Russia is interested in projects in the areas of logistics, transport, digitalization, especially in the industrial sector, Mishustin noted.
