MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Russia is ready to work at Syrian oilfields, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
"Certainly, this is one of areas. Russian companies worked long since in the territory of Syria, at oilfields. There are fields requiring development, there are the ones plugged and abandoned, and greenfields. We are also ready to participate," he said.
The two countries will hold a meeting of the intergovernmental commission, Novak added.
