Putin says growth of household income in Russia surpassed that of commodity weight

"Household income, the purchasing power should meet the volume of goods produced in the country," the Russian leader noted

MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Household income in Russia grew faster than commodity weight, President Vladimir Putin said at a Q&A session combined with his annual press conference when commenting on the situation with inflation.

"Market supply should meet household income. Household income, the purchasing power should meet the volume of goods produced in the country. Income and wages [in Russia] grew faster than commodity weight and production output," he said.

Meanwhile, the authorities’ planning can only rely on averaged indicators, Putin noted.
