Russian stocks down as Thursday trading opens

The dollar exchange rate was up by 0.25% at 90.82 rubles, while the euro was up by 0.42% at 98.95 rubles

MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market was down as Thursday trading opened on Moscow Exchange as the MOEX Index lost 0.04% to 3,309.31 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index fell by half a percent to 1,145.96 points, according to trading data as of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (07:00 a.m. GMT).

As of 10:15 a.m. (07:15 a.m. GMT) the MOEX was down by 0.07% at 3,308.19 points, while the RTS was down by 0.36% at 1,147.51 points.

Meanwhile the dollar exchange rate was up by 0.25% at 90.82 rubles on Moscow Exchange, the euro was up by 0.42% at 98.95 rubles, while the yuan was up by 0.24% at 12.563 rubles.
