Tajikistan ready to boost agricultural exports to Russia — president

Eight hundred deposits and occurrences of mineral resources were explored in the country’s subsoil, Emomali Rakhmon noted

MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Moscow and Dushanbe expressed readiness to cooperate in increasing exports of Tajikistan’s agricultural products to Russia, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon told reporters after talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"[We] agreed the agricultural sector is a promising area for cooperation. [We] stressed readiness to expand exports of eco-friendly agricultural products of Tajikistan to Russia," he said.

Eight hundred deposits and occurrences of mineral resources were explored in the country’s subsoil, the leader of Tajikistan noted. "We invite the Russian business to cooperate in developing these resources," he added.
