IT companies have good prospects for IPO — minister

Sales of Russian software for domestic cloud serves surged by a factor of three over five years and amounted to 300 bln rubles ($3.2 bln), Maksut Shadaev noted

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. National IT companies have good prospects for the initial public offerings (IPO), Minister for Digital Development Maksut Shadaev said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"We are confident that the year of 2022 was a challenging one, while customers made restructuring; all that will develop faster later one. By the way, IPO launching by Russian IT companies is one of such factors evidencing prospects of the Russian IT business and the interest in it. In other words, the interest is not only with customers but also with investors buying such shares and shows good prospects of Russian IT companies overall," the minister said.
