MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Russia’s government should draft proposals on key six areas of the country’s development by May, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with cabinet members on Wednesday.
Noting the necessity to support the trend of life expectancy growth and mortality decline in Russia, and setting a number of other tasks, he said: "I know that the government <…> is drafting additional proposals on strategic sessions."
"I am confident that this work will result in drafts of new measures on six development areas that I mentioned at the Council on national projects (in December 2022 - TASS). I would like their particular parameters to be presented this May," Putin said.
Russian President set six main tasks for 2023 at the meeting of the Council on strategic development and national projects last December. They include bringing cooperation with foreign partners to a new level, strengthening technology and ensuring financial sovereignty, outstripping infrastructure development, decreasing poverty and turning the demographic situation.
