BUENOS AIRES, February 7. /TASS/. The governments of Argentina and Russia have signed a memorandum on media cooperation, the Russian Embassy in Buenos Aires said on Thursday.
On Wednesday Russian Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Media and Communications Alexey Volin met with Argentinian Minister of the Federal System of Media and Public Content Hernan Lombardi in Buenos Aires, the embassy said adding that the sides discussed "promising directions of cooperation in the informational sphere."
"After talks, a memorandum on media cooperation was signed," the embassy noted.
Volin earlier said that Argentina and Russia have agreed to step up contacts in the media sphere and are considering a possibility of creating joint television projects.
