Russia’s Su-35 fighter provides air cover for aircraft in Kursk Region — ministry

While on the mission, one of the fighter jets detected signals emitted by the enemy’s air defense radar, the ministry said

MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Russia’s Su-35 highly maneuverable air superiority fighter jet escorted other aircraft delivering strikes on Ukrainian military sites in bordering areas of Russia’s Kursk Region, the Russian defense ministry said.

"The goal of the mission was to ensure air cover for bomber and ground attack aircraft, as well as Army Aviation helicopters that were delivering air strikes on Ukrainian military sites and targets," the ministry said in a statement.

While on the mission, one of the fighter jets detected signals emitted by the enemy’s air defense radar, the ministry added.
