Great Britain does not support the idea of deploying nuclear weapons in Europe, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, commenting on statements from experts on the potential deployment of nukes in Europe amid a diminishing US interest in how things stand in the Old World.

"On the question of nuclear weapons, obviously our position is that we will do everything we can to prevent any increase in the availability of nuclear weapons," Starmer said at a news conference at 10 Downing Street following a video call with Western leaders on Ukraine.
