MOSCOW, January 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 90 troops and a D-30 howitzer in the Krasny Liman area in the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"In the Krasny Liman area, units of Battlegroup Center, acting in coordination with artillery forces and aircraft crews, inflicted fire damage on troops and equipment of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces, the Fifth National Guard Brigade, the 100th and 125th Territorial Defense brigades near Chervonaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Serebryansky forestry," the statement reads.

According to the ministry, the enemy lost up to 90 troops, a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, 12 motor vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.
